The fencer is really happy with this purchase.
Our kid has slightly wider feet. Normal wide shoes usually fit, but with the routine high-intensity training on the strip, we were looking for a pair that’s more accommodating while still offering excellent side support. Most fencing shoes on market tend to run narrow and pointed, which just doesn’t work well for wider feet. This line from Fencing Star has been a great find—it fits comfortably and provides solid lateral support during lunges and quick movements. A shoe that keeps up with both the demands of performing and the need for a better fit.
